Our first week of classes has already come to an end! I can’t believe how quickly the week has gone. All the returning and new ballerinas did an amazing job in their first classes! Can’t wait to see what all we can accomplish this year!

Our Mini Ballet Class started yesterday! 💖 These tiny ballerinas are so precious! 😍

Mini Ballet is ages 18 - 30 months. Class is focused on learning fundamental movements/coordinations, following instructions, and recognizing music tempo.

Our littles worked hard this summer. They have begun the journey of the split, they are beginning to incorporate arms into steps, and continued to learn new movements! But I have to say, my favorite part is quizzing them about the French vocabulary!

It’s called strength!! Dancers need it too! Dancers and dance training is so full of bad habits. We do our best to work on technique but sometimes that isn’t enough. It’s important to work on strengthening and equalizing our bodies. We start with dancers doing strength training at the age of 7. Simple resistance training and learning proper technique on a few movements makes a HUGE difference. As our dancers grow, so does their strength training. Our dancers learn traditional weightlifting, Pilates, and dance technique! #ballet #dancers #strengthtraining #dancersstrengthtraining #healthydancers
